All positions require that the applicant be a resident of Wyandotte county or willing to relocate within (12) months from the date of hire. As a condition of employment all employees must pass a post offer physical examination and drug screen. And submit proof of identity and employment eligibility.

The Information Systems Coordinator position requires strong technical, analytical, and excellent customer service skills and would be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, deploying, installing and configuring hardware with the Wyandotte County Sheriff's Office. The Information Systems Coordinator will:

  • Develop skills related to Microsoft Office 365 Suite included but not limited to Office Suite, SharePoint, One Drive and Microsoft Teams.
  • Active knowledge of System Center Configuration Manager
  • Experience deploying and configuring Microsoft Windows 10/11
  • Install, make changes and repair computer hardware and software
  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
  • Providing remote technical support over the phone or using remote tools
  • Assist with the inventory management and maintenance
  • Preserve and grow your knowledge of help desk procedures, products and services
  • Follow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution
  • Track, route and redirect problems to correct resources
  • Flexibility with schedule to help support after hours meetings and other scheduled events.
  • Knowledge of active directory
  • Ability to use Authenticator 2 factor security software
  • Ability to use and manage Connect wise by Microsoft to manage PC’s and remote access.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Current non-expired Microsoft Certification in Windows Server or CompTIA A+ or other web development or be able to obtain within 1 year of employment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related discipline or work experience related to area of assignment or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position.

Significant preference given to those with multiple skillsets and proven experience within the Microsoft and Application Integration disciplines. Residency within Wyandotte County required within 2 years of employment.

Salary Range:

$ 29.62 - $40.43 per hour
