Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Business Information Systems, the position is responsible for providing on-going maintenance and support of enterprise systems operations as well as third party integrated systems. All duties will need to be performed in accordance with university policies, procedures and core values.
Essential Functions:
● Hands-on technical support to all our stakeholder groups including HR, Finance, Payroll and Research Administration,.
● Troubleshoot and respond to incidents, service outages and service requests in a timely manner and collaborate with other technical team members, functional partners and vendors for problem resolutions.
● Proactively identify issues with the systems and notify appropriate parties.
● Ensure that the service management system and other outgoing reports / data outputs are kept up to date with status.
● Ensure application systems integrity by performing appropriate change control and test plans.
● Identify and mitigate risks and escalate, as needed.
● Ensure quality of deliverables by establishing and following best practices and standards.
● Perform other duties as assigned and as needed, including readiness to support after hours and weekends.
Prerequisite Qualifications:
● A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
● 3+ years of experience supporting Ellucian Banner HR and Finance cloud solutions.
● 3+ years of experience using Oracle – PL/SQL and SQLLDR processes.
● 1+ years of experience supporting E-Visions (Form Fusion and Intellicheck and MAPS).
● 1+ years of experience using Automic (Appworx) job scheduler.
● Experience developing reports in IBM Cognos.
● Experience designing solutions working with cross-functional business users.
● Experience developing with front end systems, and relational database systems.
● Demonstrated experience with instituting code control, version control, and change management.
Preferred Qualifications:
● A Master's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field.
● Experience with ITIL practices for IT service management.’
● Experience with ServiceNow.
